Unique buttons made with a a base layer of polymer clay, then multiple different canes are applied. A unique stretching process is applied which creates a distressed and crackled effect. The clay is then added to the coconut button, and glued. Buttons will have a leatherlike look, from the coconut itself, for a totally new look, plus being lightweight.
I do add 2 coats of a polyacrylic, for protection. Buttons apprx 1 and 1/4" in width, and , and 1/8" depth. Each button, while from the same batch, will be unique. I know people have said buttons can be handwashed on a garment, inside out, however I have never felt entirely comfortable while doing. Please note, i am not advising, i feel safer removing, or covering with foil. These not sure how washing will work! I would advise against washing in machine.
Each batch and each button is one of a kind. Not repeatable! Price is per button.
