Beautiful silk with gold threads dyed using a combination of different techniques to create a one of a kind fabric. Each picture represents a small portion of the entire piece. The dyes used create a beautiful and unusual array of colors flowing from one to another.
Wonderful for nuno felting, felting, clothing, shibori silk, any fiber arts!
As always, dyeing in the studio, looking out one of many windows( must have windows!) i am reminded of how wonderful it is to see horses in the pasture,flowers in bloom, cats and dogs wandering in to supervise, or complain dinner is late, and a husband who, will start dinner, realizing he may not eat if left up to me.
